This article explores the factors that have a significant impact on the development of transit traffic along the Trans-Caspian transport route. Currently, the Republic of Kazakhstan is becoming one of the determining factors in the development of transport routes within the Eurasian space at the junction between China and Europe. Latitudinal and meridional international transport corridors (ITC) - routes in the direction «East-West» and «North-South» - run along the EAEU territory. The geography of the region allows for the delivery of goods both exclusively by land and multimodal, combining different modes of transport. The study was conducted using correlation and regression analysis based on data from open sources. The results obtained allowed to identify the most significant factors, the development of which will create conditions for the development of transit transportations in Kazakhstan.
